Mouser Electronics has announced that it is now stocking the RA6M3 AI/ML and RA4E1 AI/ML reference kits from Renesas Electronics. These reference kits are comprehensive solutions designed to simplify the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies into edge and endpoint systems. They are based on Renesas' RA6M3 and RA4E1 32-bit RA microcontrollers and enable the rapid development of real-time analytics, audio, and vision applications.

The RA6M3 AI/ML and RA4E1 AI/ML reference kits address common challenges faced by system designers in engineering and product development. Each kit provides multiple interfaces to serve as a central node for data collection from various sensors, supporting real-time analytics, audio, or vision-driven AI/ML applications. The RA6M3 kit features six Pmod connectors, while the RA4E1 kit includes three. Both kits offer Can FD, USB Type-C™, Segger J-Link® debug port, and a camera parallel port. The RA6M3 kit also includes a camera module and Ethernet port for additional connectivity. Onboard MEMS tracking devices with integrated temperature sensors and two MEMS microphones enable positioning and audio recognition applications. Additionally, a TFT module with resistive touch functionality serves as a human-machine interface (HMI) and is used in application examples.

These AI/ML development kits are fully compatible with the Renesas Flexible Software Package (FSP) and are supported by Reality AI Software for Real-time Analytics and the Renesas Ready Partner Network for specific use cases. The kits include application examples to assist new users in getting started, and the available ecosystem and AI/ML software allow users to develop their own solutions.
